Not only did I have an overall positive experience having my pool built by Bobby and his team at AB Pool Company, they have also proven to be an invaluable resource for the maintenance and upkeep of my pool in the year since it was built.
My pool was constructed by AB Pool Company during the spring/early summer of 2022. I would recommend Bobby to anyone looking for a vinyl inground pool. He was able to offer many of the options and customizations that one would find with a concrete or fiberglass pool. We were able to get the built in bench, sundeck and integrated vinyl stairs that gave our pool a high-end custom look for a much better value than the other options. Bobby stuck to the prices that were outlined in the contract and there were no surprise extra fees along the way. We had a clear understanding of what we were responsible for and what was included in the contract.
Although the build timeline was not flawlessly maintained, there were no unreasonable delays in the construction. And when comparing my experience with that of a friend and also a family member that were having pools built during the same time, our delays were just minor glitches compared to the major setbacks they were having. As with any construction project, a certain number of bumps are to be expected. What was great about Bobby was that when I had an issue, he would address it and make it right in the end.
I have also used Bobby to open and close my pool and as my main go-to person for any issues. He had my water go from looking like a swamp to crystal clear within days after opening this spring. And unfortunately, I was plagued with mishaps this season and had to call Bobby three times, and each time he delivered!
The control board on my salt generator failed and Bobby replaced it under warranty and helped get my water balanced and clear again. We had a fuse blow on the equipment because of a power outage and he was able to resolve that quickly. But the biggest thing he helped us with was getting my pool clean after a wheelbarrow full of dirt and rocks fell into the pool when our wheelbarrow broke at the perfectly imperfect moment!! We thought we were going to have to drain our pool to get it clean. It was literally 50 lbs of dirt in the pool and when this happened, we were one week away from my son’s big pool birthday party. I called Bobby to rescue me and his guys got to work. They came out to the house 4 or 5 times to work on cleaning the pool. They even came out on a Saturday and then again on Sunday morning the day of the party to give it one last cleaning. It felt like a miracle that they were able to get it back to sparkling in a week. He really saved the day and we are so grateful!

Bobby and his crew at AB Pools did and excellent job installing our pool and hot tub. We have been very satisfied with it and Bobby has been very helpful with a couple minor issues that we’ve had. He’s been very good at returning calls which doesn’t happen very often in this day and age. They come out every fall and close it up and again in the spring to open it.
